How I Spent My Last 24 Hours of Unemployment

Monday, September 28

- I finished buying the last few things on my packing list, including my portable speakers, my usb external modem, a flashlight, and the small gifts for the host family. Have I ever packed for a trip more than 1 or 2 days in advance? Nope. I graduated with a Masters in Procrastination.

- I played some Rock Band 2 for the last time, how will I possibly live without being able to play the drums and sing the vocals to Livin' on a Prayer and Don't Stop Believin'? (FYI: For anyone reading this who doesn't understand sarcasm, THAT was sarcasm.)

- I ate some leftovers from my fridge including but not limited to: spaghetti con albondigas, arroz blanco, pan de huevo con salchichon, chocolate chip cookie ice cream, pistachio almond ice cream, etc... My last meal was arroz blanco con ala frita. I also had some fried oreos (which Joel must have made wrong because estaban enchumbao de aceite and they weren't very good at all...)

- Downloaded some music to my computer, including most of the songs from Rock Band 2 so I can air-drum play it and other necessities such as "Watagatapitusberry." (If you don't know what that is you need to youtube it RIGHT NOW!)

- Finished filling out the PC paperwork

- Saved all my phone numbers to a word file on my computer, deleted everything from my phone and handed it over to Mami. RIP LG phone.

- Finished watching all my shows, including Mad Men and One Tree Hill. Caught the Cleveland Show premiere (my verdict: not impressed...). After putting it off for a week and a half finished watching The English Patient, which I had no idea was about a wartime romance... somehow I thought it was some romantic comedy type movie with Hugh Grant. Needless to say I was quite surprised.
